what do you do when MG's ignore you in help center

I had a problem applying my injected skill injector sp.
the thing is designed for helping alts. But CCP kept the skill que locked on your secondary toon. It used to be not a problem to reset your skill que even thou it's not in training.

the new mechanic of applying unallocated sp is based on the skill que, so i spent half an hour rearranging the skill que. but when i hit apply, not only did skill que kick me out and flash that stupid pay a plex crap, it reset my skill que to before i rearranged everything and then let the sp be applied....

so now i have just thrown 6 skill injectors down the drain and not in the ship i wanted to get into.

for 5 days i posted multiple requests in help center to resolve this situation. Then after the 4th message a GM finally got on to help.. then disappeared...

I filed another help ticket this morning, another GM got on, and instead helping, dumped me back to the other GM who i hasn't responded in a day.

So.. what can i do from here.. i have gotten no help at all.

Cancel your subscription in protest - it's what I would do.

e: just be a bit more patient - I've regularly had to wait weeks, even for issues as pressing as this (if not more so). It sucks, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

If its anything like unallocated skill points, then you do not do anything with the skill queue. You right click on a skill in your list and select apply skill points, or something like that.

Just what you deserve, you filthy mudblood!

Seriously, though. Everyone knows CCP support takes a month (if you are lucky). Just be patient.

Edit: Asking an injector to be patient. I am irony personified today.

Don't injectors add SP to a pool, which you then apply by right clicking the skill you want it added to?

What does the skill queue have to do with it, apart from needing to be paused?

Yes this is how it works.

You don't need to stop your main training or do anything with the skill queue if it isn't training as part of multi-character training (in which case you need to stop training in order to apply skills).

Just inject the skillbooks then apply the skillpoints from the character sheet.

I thought that was how it worked but with the injected skills that was not an option. it went to my skill que and had all kinds of funky things on top of your que and a big button that says apply SP. it was all changed becuase of the injector thing... i was in my skills looking for a way to apply them individually but it didn't let me

Ok, for all who don't know:

1. You can apply unallocated points to a skill, but in the CHARACTER SHEET, not in the skill queue. The skill queue lists skills just like the character sheet, but won't give you the right-click option to apply points, as far as I know. If you want to manually do each skill, one at a time, you have to use the character sheet.

2. With the injectors patch, CCP added functionality so that the skill queue is automatically trained if you click the "apply skillpoints here" button that appears at the top of it; it will just fill up all the skills in the queue and complete them all at once. This was to reduce the huge amount of clicking that you'd have to do if you choose the manual option (step 1).

3. If your main is training, your alt cannot make changes to its skill queue, or APPLY the skill queue to make it active. Thus, if you want to apply skill points to the alt, you are forced to use method 1 only; close the skill queue, open the character sheet, and right-click manually on each skill to apply the points.

4. The injectors have a bug; they do NOT check if the skill queue they're presented with is actually active. So, with an alt with an inactive skill queue, if you don't do method 1 and do method 2, what happens is this:

a. You change the skill queue to contain the skills that you want.
b. But you cannot APPLY so it's not saved.
c. If you click the "apply skill points to queue" button, it will close the (unapplied) changes you made to the skill queue, load the OLD skill queue, and put the points in the old skills.

To the OP: add text to your petition to indicate that you lost the skill points due to this bug, and hope that they are nice and reimburse your points for you. And next time, close skill queue, open character sheet, and right-click each skill to apply points.

As has been said - depending on the support load and importance of the issue (if you can't log in, that's typically considered important) it can take weeks to get a reply. Stop spamming them with requests and wait, it's the only thing you can do. They will reply once it's your turn. You can't make them work any faster and from my experience (I'm a tech supporter myself) the more you spam the support, the longer it's going to take.

The training queue used to stop when you used some of the unallocated sp, but I noticed earlier that it no longer stops training whatever you are training.

I know I said I wasn't going to use anymore for awhile, but it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Seriously I'm not an addict, or is that what addicts say?

You can either allocate the sp individually directly to the skills on the character page, or apply them to what is in the skill queue or empty the skill queue and just add skills to the queue until the bar which for unallocated sp is yellow turns blue, then just apply them after you have saved the skill queue with the usual button at the bottom, with the button at the top of the skill queue.

As for the op's problem, I was under the impression you can still train more than one character on one account, all you need to do is make sure that no character is training when you switch. If that still is the case it sounds like you tried to use them when one character was still training. But then the unallocated sp shouldn't have been used.

Although if you use an sp injector the unallocated sp can only be used with that character.

Edit:

Do the unallocated sp show up anywhere? Or are they just missing?

Because it sounds like you used the sp injectors, so the unallocated sp should be attached to that character.

It's probably because he saw 'que' and had to log off because he was laughing too hard.

Depending on the support load, the amount of investigation required, and importance of the issue (if you can't log in, that's typically considered important) it can take a while to get a reply. Bugs generally take a bit because of the amount of logs and other bugs that the Bug hunter crew have to go through. Since only CCP can answer your petition I will lock this thread to prevent further trolling.
