I've never really understood why people get up in arms about SP on the test server, having extra SP to test stuff makes absolute sense and it's not like you are able to gain any sort of advantage on TQ by having loads of SP on sisi. Even if people were abusing this system what were they actually abusing? I don't really see getting more skill points to try new things and possibly increase their enjoyment of the game as being a bad thing.

Also it's likely to have been a small percentage of players that probably wouldn't make any real impact in the grand scheme of things, I realise internet spaceships is serious business, but I don't see why the test server needs to be so uptight.

The most I've ever seen on SiSi (And I've not been on it often) is ~220 players and that was when TQ was down for a short while a few days ago.

The average on SiSi I'd say is ~120 players, of which 50-60 are actually in the main staging system, of which 20-30 are sat in the station most of the time.

I'll stand by my beliefs that people will exploit in any way to gain the upper hand, it's human nature, exploiting the /copyskills & extractor loophole is a completely expected outcome. That being said, disabling the /copyskills command is both pointless and useful.

So, here are some reasons why the command should be re-enabled and allow the exploit to be used. I'm not condoning this on TQ or to abuse any exploit other than this, it's simply this specific yet obvious exploit is not necessarily game-breaking. Flying a 5km/sec titan would be an exploit, doing a 420k volley from a rookie ship, that would be an exploit as would flying a cockroach when you're not an ISD member or a GM.

But anyway, reasons;
~This has absolutely no effect on TQ
~Each player can participate in all aspects of testing
~Player-organised tests would be more involving of less-experienced players
~Could be considered training or future testing of a players' career path (PvP, Industry, mining.. etcetera)

But of course, as it has been said, it's still an exploit and it's still up to CCP to re-enable the command or not.

I've tried industry, combat, mining, ratting and missions on SiSi. Because of that I'm decidedly going towards industry because it's passive, my kind of enjoyment and it's perfect because I'm not at the computer that often. So in that, you have my thanks.

Not unless someone donates the required amount of skill injectors. This is why so many people are contesting the choice of disabling the /copyskills command.

Can I get some extra free SP, Since Extractors/Injectors are useless to me and I lost my /copyskills command?
