Accumulate SP straight to unallocated

Now that unallocated SP has been blown wide open, any chance we can start training straight to unallocated

I realize this is a workaround to being off-attribute. I think those can go too. But in the meantime I'd be okay with accumulating SP to unallocated.

The main reason I'm asking about this is the new skills that are being introduced which can catch players off remap. Drone skills and spaceship command skills at the same time, for example. It forces sub-optimal response within the limits of the game mechanics.

You're missing the point you can just pay ccp and get skill points now you think they ate going to add something that would take away from this

Kinda, because the inject tax sucks for anyone with more than 5 million SP.

Who cares about remaps? They are useless and not necessary at all. All you do is remap once to Perc/Mem and forget about the entire process until the server are being shut down for good.

don't be stupid, there's easily enough after the first couple of months to spend on a year of int/mem, then a year of per/wil, then probably another year of int/mem and another year of per/will, now I'm on a year and a half of wil/per which will be followed by a year of char/something (I think mem or wil?)

my point is there are easily enough skills in most major branches to take a year of training, if you're willing to focus and take the consequences of that focus (like not getting instant gratification on the new FOTM)

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Remaps becomes irrelevant if you pool unallocated SP and then apply them to skills since their different attributes no longer matter.

First, why the heck would you want unallocated skillpoints? Just make up your damn mind on what you want to skill for, cause consequences.

Secondly, attributes themselves are getting removed sometime soon, hopefully. Therefore so-called ideas or features regarding remaps is a complete waste of time.

A newbie who has attributes better aligned for a new feature still has far more to train for it because they need support skills that a veteran already has trained.

I'm bumping this after seeing the announcement of new Starbase skills. If I participated in starbase defense gameplay, I would be quite upset at the goalposts being moved suddenly. If it's an ongoing thing where new skills are created, I'd like to plan for that ahead of time by training straight to unallocated.
