No D-Scan ?

Issue or feature? Big smile

Just leave the ******* camera like it was before CCP. It's not an improvement. It's really not.

seems like the new experimental d-scanner "work" , you can activate it in settings, anyway - its crap, everything u see get shown with a big delay . it list 1 by 1 thing.
why do you guys rly need to fix stuff thats not broken ?

Looks like CCP is trying very hard to loose players. New camera thingy is so bad. New dscan is so bad. Now they broke the old one. It looks like they want to force us to try the new one. Well i did and i dont want to use it.

Look, I don't mind when the net effect of you mucking up the basic toolset of the game is a bunch of unchecked tick boxes in the general settings page.

But for the love of God, if you break the currently working and preferred tools, don't deploy the Damn code without fixing it!!!

The new DSCAN didn't have this terrible fade effect/delay until today, it was fine yesterday.

Can you release the following data please:

Of players more than 18 months old (counting active subscription for 18 months, does not have to be consecutive)

Count 1.for a use of a dscan by a player. Only count 1.per hour no matter how many dscans the player clicks in that hour

Results go in two columns Col1.old dscan Col2.New dscan

Given that the new scan needs to be manually turned of, weight the data how you like.

With the patch on February 16 the classic directional scanner (D-Scan) broke and isn’t working as expected.

The workaround:
Enable the “Try new Probe and new Directional Scanners” in the “Experimental Features” section of the settings menu (ESC), general tab.

Edit: The issue seems to be fixed but there may be other issues. CCP Is aware and working on it. Soon(TM)
