I confess: I'm having endless trouble cooking burguers. They are never right: overcooked, undercooked (ewww), with oil, without oil, medium fire, high fire, turning them only once, turning them each minute, 3 minutes each side, no, must be 5 minutes at least... but there is no way that they end well cooked and juicy.

Can't understand it. I can cook steaks. I can cook chicken breasts. I can cook pork. I can cook fish. But burguers... WTF is wrong with them?

I'm beginning to suspect that maybe the issue it's the source. I buy them already made, from the supermarket. Maybe I should ask (who?) whether they manage to cook those damned burguers properly...

Never need oil.

Just salt the pan a little. The rendering fat from the beef should provide plenty of grease to cook in (note, pan should be hot when you put the beef patties in).

Let it brown up the side and then flip.

When its all nice and cooked looking give the top a gentle push with your spatula or whatever tool your using. If the fluids come out clear, its done. Red/pink, not done. Of course, it also depends on where in the rare <-> well done spectrum you like your burgers.

I like my burgers to "Moooo" at me as they try to crawl off my plate. Big smile

Hello TLAGLTR (The Like And Get Likes Thread Renewed),

Please excuse my absence. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I found myself 'Lost In Space' for a while. Luckily I was able to maintain communication with Mission Control which eventually allowed me to find my way back.

I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day. It's been a while but I recently got back into folding Dollar Bills into Origami figures which I call Dollargami. For February 14, yesterday, I created a Dollargami Valentines Day Special. Hope you like it, gotta say Exotic Dancers really love this stuff.

I can create quite a few different items, total is now 42. I'm probably forgetting a few and will definitely add more to the list in the future.

Bowtie
Small Cube
Presidential Box
Swan
Flapping Crane - Flaps wings when tail is pulled
Nesting Crane
Dove
Seagull
Male Love Bird
Female Love Bird
Seal
Seal - Balancing small cube on nose
North Star
Row Boat
Small Clam
Large Clam
Whale
Cat Fish
Sea Turtle
Starfish
Frog - Jumps when butt is touched
Beetle - Jumps when butt is touched
Dragon
Unicorn
Small Pyramid
Medium Pyramid
Large Pyramid
Gift Box
Gift Box Cover
Diamond Ring
Insignia Ring
Small Heart
Medium Heart
Large Heart
Cupids Heart
Small Rose Bud
Large Rose Bloom
Shirt
Pants
Hat
Right Boot
Left Boot

Gonna have to update Imgur with photos of completed items. Seriously thinking of writing a book listing steps to create these items. Will probably do that when I get to 50 items. I should probably be working on this when I'm in-between jobs. I know writing a step by step Origami book is a lot of work and that's something I'm not really looking to do right now during my time off in-between jobs. Plus I'm not even sure if it would sell since Origami folding can be found on the Internet for free.

Ugh

Hey DMC. o/

Fanfiction can be found for free all over the internet too, but that hasn't stopped people selling badly written fanfiction on Amazon (look how well Twilight sold!) You have to remember that not everyone is competent at searching the internet for what they want. Many people would be more than happy to buy a book in a format that's easy for them to digest, rather than spend hours searching the net only to find badly written and formatted content.

I say go for it, now, in whatever spare time you have. You have little to lose, a lot to potentially gain, and at the very least you can say you tried.

That is a somewhat standard (but still terrible) fit hole rolling battleship seen mostly in the confines of wormhole space by people trying to close wormholes with the opposite of style.

Yeah, you're right. It's definitely much easier to just look in a book for a specific item than browsing the internet.

Main thing is I'll have them all documented to refresh my memory when needed. I really racked my brain trying to remember how to make Cupid's Heart which I might add is my own creation. Also the Roses are an adaptation / improvement of the ones people make out of bar napkins.

Definitely be a boost to my personal reference / ego too as well, being able to say I'm a published writer, right ?

Welcome back. o7

Thanks, yeah I was starting to think I was gonna be 'Lost In Space' forever. Was just about ready to enter the cryo tube when Mission Control contacted me. A little while later I was back here in Empire space.

Hello there folks and a special hello to DMC.

Today has been a good day even though its mostly been about doing taxes... and more taxes.

Had a meatball marinara sub for lunch with extra sauce, extra cheese and bbq sauce. It was high calorie but my god was it good.
