When we all started playing EVE, we had to get isk somehow. Most of us resorted to menial alliance tasks, paying subscription fees, etc.....

There comes a point when your main character no longer needs to pay for the pleasure of playing EVE; either through high volume trading, awesome PvP loot, skimming off your corp wallet, or extorting others with the threat of removing their sovereignty. At what point in time or SP did you reach this threshold or are you not there yet?

I'm not there yet, and I dont think its through lack of capability, more like lack of effort.... on goes the subscription fee :-)

For me it was back when FW missions were introduced. The market is pretty much ruined now but back then you could easily make billions just like that.

I must say though that I find eve more interesting when I dont have an unlimited supply of isk.

I'm one of those idiots that pays sub fee even if I had half a trillion ISK in wallets. Granted I wouldn't sell the 2 PLEX I sell every 6 months but if I had stupid amounts of ISK I'd just spend it on stupid things.

Yea, now its flying logi in a Vanguard fleet. No point in doing anything else. The rest of the game is pointless when you pop 80mil in your wallet for an hour of playtime. I don't mind PLEX being close to 500mil now, but I just wish that Incursions didn't run all of EVE. Nothing else to do except run them and PvP it away on the weekends.

a) too lazy. Sometimes i hardly play for 10 hours/month because driving my bike in the sunshine is more fun.
b) i have to admit that i like to see billions in my wallet.
c) very bad at pvping so i have to replace expencive ships when i pvp.Big smile

For me it was about 3 months into the game, not quite sure howmany SPs I had back then, but my trading, manufacturing and exploration allowed me to make enough cash for plexing, so I started a 2nd account run of plexes.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?
