Citadels and Rorqual effects

I like to thank CCP from the up and coming changes with citadels

I like to know more about the effects on the Rorqual as i boost from a poss most days i yes to see any news on how i going to be boosting fleets.

1) Are P.O.S staying and getting phased out if so how do stay safe.

2) Citadels YES i cant wait but will i be able to boost safe like a P.O.S ?? as I have seen no news on this topic that i could find.

Maybe i will train a rorqual.
Didn't lose a mining ship as all true Gods hate miners, but losing a mining capital sounds fun

From the Dev blogs (they really are worth reading...) the Transition Plan for POSes is that all functionality will be removed from POSes over time before they are then completely removed from the game.

1. Eventually they will be phased out, however not at once Citadel is released. It will be a slow transition.

2. New Citadels will not be having a force shield, so I suggest you make yourself some safespots.

On-grid boosting will be coming to Eve, likely long before POS are removed. CCP Fozzie teased the proposed mechanics with Rixx Javix discussed here: http://eveoganda.blogspot.ca/2016/01/on-grid-links.html. Not sure if the same mechanic will be used for mining boosts but change is coming. It will be interesting to see if CCP can come up with a Rorqual that stands a chance of surviving while on-grid boosting a mining fleet.
