The whole idea here is to decrease the work you have to do, not increase it.

except it wont get rid of bots soooo

I do not know where some of the posters here have gotten the idea that bot programmers can magically solve captchas. I think they must be watching too many Terminator movies.

Even ordinary, old-fashioned text CAPTCHAs are not breakable by AI. The way spammers solve some of these is by doing what is called a reCAPTCHA, which means passing the CAPTCHA to a real human and having the human solve it. This is only viable for large, complex systems that have server-based operations and advanced programming support. Doing a reCAPTCHA in fringe application software like an EVE market bot is completely infeasible.

Also, there are many kinds of CAPTCHAs that are both easier to do than text CAPTCHA and difficult or impossible to reCAPTCHA, such as Google's new type which requires the user to rotate a random image so that it is upright.

What about all third party software that is pulling information from API/CREST and telling you what was outbid, and what you need to do?
You can easily get software that will analyze information between trade hubs and inform you what you need to modify to get better profit, or what to buy as item is currently under reprocessing value.

That's a nice theory, but if that worked then there would not be any bots. Considering that there are multiple commercial ACTIVE companies selling EVE market bot software, whatever is being done right now, whatever it is, is not effective.

Bots are like a virus and all the other not so good parts of our online computer life. It is a constant war of tech skills / knowledge between those who try to prevent and those that create the bots. As soon as a company like CCP closes one access hole those who write bots find another way in. In the end bots and other things we do not like are an integral part of playing games on computers instead of a gaming console.

I only dip my toes in the market trading aspect of this game simply for fun and even I hate this idea.
Like the others if you see and advertisement for or an internet post about a bot intended to be used with EvE then send the info to CCP and let them deal with it. If the market bots bother you that much then my advice is to let your orders end, withdraw from the markets and just go play the game and enjoy it for awhile.

Once again, posting as the authority on subjects you apparently know little about. FYI, this is not how you win a debate.

Google is your friend. You should visit it and do a modicum of information gathering before posting erroneous supposition.
