trying to transfer a toon and wont let me use my credit card or 2 plex cards

is the transfers suspended atm ?

You're guessing wrong then.

The current login splash message is a warning about notifications of services you have not asked for or initiated (character transfer, PLEX purchase) so I suspect there's some reason for putting it up now?

Been a lot of people moaning about character transfer not working recently, I doubt that and the message are entirely coincidental Blink

I don't know what any of this means. So you're saying it is working? Is this a riddle?

Well I keep getting emails from CCP stating that someone is trying to transfer a character to my account, and if this is in error I should click some suspicious looking link. It is in error, but it is free so I do nothing.



Yes, I'm aware it's a phishing scam, but for the scam to work it relies on EvE players being honest and stepping forward to correct an error that would've otherwise directly benefitted them.

EvE players being honest? Doing the morally right thing? LOL. Sometimes I think these gold farmers have no clue what EvE is all about. They don't know us at all.

Yeah there could be a phishing scam going on with character transfers, but I thought the splash screen warning had to do with CCP sending out a survey recently and criminals deciding to send out letters pretending to be that survey or further correspondence based on a survey. A very smart way to trick eve customers, criminals following up their email after a ccp email.
