Issues, Workarounds & Localization

On three occasions since february patch my mouse cursor has started jumping all over the screen. It happens only in EVE and only when the mouse cursor hits the top of the screen, the middle of the screen (vertically) or the bottom of the screen.

Once it starts happening it's 100% reproducible, and on 2 of the 3 occasions the client has crashed shortly thereafter. Again, only happens in eve, and when it starts happening i can tab out and mouse is fine, run something else D3D driven and mouse is fine, etc.

Running win7 x64, latest mouse drivers (roccat kone pure driver 1.21), dxdiag shows no issues. Eve is in windowed fullscreen, switching to windowed or fullscreen doesn't help.

Recent changes on my computer that could be the culprit:

Eve patch.
Windows 7 Update (about a week ago).

No other software/driver/etc changes in 3 months or so, I'm 99% sure one of the above is responsible, but searching for windows7 update related issues is like, impossible.. and wouldn't explain why other D3D apps have no problems.

I have serious mouse issues lately as well.

mouse has worked flawlessly in EVE for 6 months approx.
Suddenly I have all kinds of issues. Nothing has changed last months.

But now mouse disappears (only in EVE) , jumps around and you loose items every time you drag and drop over box boundaries
such as the items -> fitting window

The mouse functions are _extremely_ important to all of EVE as a game so this is a SERIOUS problem.

even semi-working any glitch becomes so annoying over short time periods that it becomes impossible to play.

Should be priority to protect the mouse environment for all of EVE's program components. Without it we have no game, and you consequently have no income.


Microsoft problem, DirectX problem, Synaptics mouse driver problem, Logitec Setpoint mouse driver problem or or can CCP look into it?

But even so:
Some reset mouse function in EVE settings (as well as tab between settings options when mouse stops working) would be nice

Need solutions badly.

mouse working better after reinstalling everything - mouse drivers, pointer settings etc. but still glitches so much its almost not playable when in station.
