err, breaking locks and at the same time increasing the time to relock with one module. that sounds like the most unpleasant experience i can imagine, short of a module that starts your self destruct timer

I wasn't suggesting that Damps should break lock. Just that they should have the counter effect to SEBOs now increasing Grav/Mag/LADAR/RADAR strength.

Another stealth nerf. From the current meta four to the new T2 there is no change in damping strength, yet it will cost you 50% more CPU and 50% more cap.

That's actually a pretty neat idea. Maybe now that almost everyone will be able to ECCM as easily as changing to a script, it would be prudent to add a new ECCCM module which shares the ship skill bonus with sensor dampeners so you can pair your ECM with sensor damps to help ensure the jams hit.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

I was just thinking of a script.

I will approve of such an idea only if they remove 100% jam chance and it gets caped somewhere around 90%

fozzie - the reason meta modules were favoured in the e-war class was because they could also take more heat than the T2 modules (I can't recall exactly why) - could we have the relevant heat stats?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be.

i propouse bring back faction version, becouse all other ewar mods have it or incrase domnus even more then i propouse, i propouse incrase all mods by 04-1% range modifier,

some time ago i play with eft and i notice that you can try use mwd fits with scram and damps with t2 damp ewar ships,
i think now range modifier is to low to even try to use this setups on factions fits, not mention t2 damp, i think if you tweek by max up to 1% up there is chance to bring back this setups, becouse it to easy to lose range control now, offcorse ecm ships are still more superior so... this not help thoes ships much, this may help little on 1v1, and if gallante damp ships have some kind drone damege bonus like amarr recons, then maybe be chance to try kite fithts in situation when is 1vs more then one friend, but still i think ecem are better. im not takeing links at consideration becouse then there are two characters and you can get many combinations. in biger combats wiht links and without links i think this will not have impact. you can always remove changes if you get voices this is op.

Shocked Oh my F******God XX .. The way these tiericides are getting done is not working on many items, at all!! This time you take the meta 4 sensor damp, which used to be better that the T2, which also dictated the price beeing 2x that of T2, and making it the worst of them.. Nobody is gonna care that it has a little better range than its "lower meta" counterparts, when they feature 1/3 reduced cap use or 1/5 reduced fitting req.

in-b-4
Phased moun is never gonna be used, and is just gonna go to the group of modules thas gets reprocessed instead of stored and used.

Rip all my fits with a RSD on. Roll
