Just wondering if there is anybody left playing EVE that doesn't run a bubble Alpha sniper instalock svipul gate camp?

I refuse to train for a Svipul, so no, also, I will remind you that more people do PvE then PvP in EVE :) in High Sec too, so yeah, I think there is a lot of people who don't, guessing you ran into like 5 in a row in Co2/Goon/Null Entity space? They aren't fun, but just fly something that goes fast and can tank the Alpha, last time I was in Fade some twerp tried to get me in my Mega.. My Tracking Mega, haha! He got away, but man, the tears in Local were real, the salt was of the finest quality.

Nope! Then again I don't really do gate camps for that matter, either way I don't see them often either. Maybe your just in an area they're popular?

Haha probably, I think they are a very popular ship atm (current meta) and I'd say are in a few doctrines

We have groups that run those. They do generate killmails but don't seem to have much challenge or even great fun potential. I do enjoy 'camping' but tend to move elsewhere when the insta-puls move in.

Svipul *is* a powerful ship in the current eve meta, so lots of people are flying them and doing all sorts of things with them.

This too shall pass.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.
