Hi there,

i live in an C4 Magnetar WH and thinking about the use of logistics there.

Any idea´s about the aggro machanics from the sleepers?

will a single logi die in seconds?

thanks for your thoughts in advance

Logi do tend to attract aggro and the sleepers will neut you dry in no time with a single logi. Two Augurors with cap transfer should work though (that's what we use in our C4 Magnetar)

solo logi = bad, multiple logi = good

pssh nah you can tank the sites with a local rep scimitar. probably an oeniros too.

you only need like an excess of 10 GJ of cap regen to deal with the neuts unless you're doing a frontier barracks

in a magnetar you can dps tank anyways

One of my corp mates flies a Domi with a Scimi , a single large remote rep keeps it alive and as long as it has he cap to run its 10mn AB its fine. (a rattlesnake would work as well, if not better)

He pretty much only hits barracks though.

Two logi would work well however you take such a huge DPS drop by having a large number of your pilots not doing DPS. better to just run multiple Rattlesnakes or something like that.

I used to run a tinker basi with 2 domis feeding it cap for C4 sites, though I did have shield links as well.

You could also just learn to marauder *shrug*
C4s aren't really all that complicated.

When i started doing sites looooooooooooong ago ... i even managed a raven + scythe and raven + osprey ... it was not easy, but it worked and i was happy that it worked :D

now i moved on :) but there are tons of possible combinations you can use, as long as you're creative and can adjust to the situation to whats needed - dps/rep/cap :)

Don't listen to the ppl saying marauders. When you have 2 toons ore more ... no need to go for uber expensive stuff, but take cheaper but more effective stuff that can do the stuff even faster.

Dual Marauder is not what i mean with that :D that just attracts ppl that wanna come and kill you. And you need around 20-30 C4 sites to get that money back.

Several months ago I needed a solo logi for c4 sites. I used a Maelstrom with HACs.

Gecko x2

Cap Booster 800 x17

It can solo everything in c4 (without effect). With good skills and t2 links everything except top data may be done without using cap booster. I decided to keep it for those data sites and possible pvp with neuts.
However the dps ships were "Cerberus" which was ok because of their low signature. I believe if you are using smth bigger you would like to switch geckos for medium logistic drones, probably fit 1 more rep.
If you're very low on skills and have problems with cap your dps ships can carry more boosters for you. If your skills are just terrible (as were mine) you can fit some nosferatu and drain cap from your dps ships.
Finaly, I made this fit before the patch that brought changes and tiercide of remote rep modules but it still worked well, however I believe that you can make the fit even better using new modules.
If you're using armor fleet, Hyperion will work fine using the same concept.

I am not sure why you would take a dps pilot out of a dps ship and put them in a logi for a c4. in a mag toss down two cheap t2 fit rattles and win.

eh, people are always going to over complicate running sites.
mind you, newer player corps do run C4s with BC dps ships from time to time since thats what their members can fly.
