I have two identical monitors and a nvidia gtx 770 card using the propriatery drivers from nvidia, and game running in fullscreen.

Earlier (yesterday) i was able to run one client on each monitor with no issues.

I would start the game and and it displayed on the right monitor, if i pressed esc key to get to the settings menu, the game would move to the left monitor. When i started a new client tt would start on the right monitor and stay there if I didnt press the esc key.
Strange behaviour i guess but it worked for me.

When I didn't multibox I would "move" the game to the left monitor with the esc key, and keep the right monitor for a web browser or something else. This worked perfectly for me.

Today this changed and I don't know why.

The game will start on the right monitor but I can't move it with when hitting the esc key.
If I click on the other monitor to open a web browser or anything the game will minimize itself. When I started a second client it would start but it would minimize itself as soon as i clikced the mousebutton and I had to get it back with Alt+Tab.
I did also get one client on both monitors but I couldn't interact with either of them, I had to use alt+tab again.
Now it's a complete mess.

I had to go to work not long after this happened so i will try more tomorrow.
I dont think this is an Eve issue, I think this is a wine, window manager and X issue.
I use Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon.

My question is, how do you do it?

I think it's mainly an issue of how you set up your multiple monitors (Xinerama, Twinview, RandR and what have you)

I don't typically play with multiple clients these days, so I can't really comment on the current situation. But back when I did, I always used "fixed window" and was able to select the display from the Eve video settings.

Fixed window sorted it.
This must have been the setting I used earlier and for some reason it was reset and made me cry.
Thanks :)

I am running two clients under my Linux Mint 17.3 - both are in Window mode, which is afterwards maximized. Each client can easily be moved to desired monitor (left or right) prior being maxed.

True, there is a window title bar, but I find this working best for me as I switch between different windows/applications a lot.
