Modulate LP rewards by mission acceptance rate

In the current scheme of mission running, some missions get ignored routinely due to low ISK / time spent ratio.

One possible solution to this problem would be to make LP rewards vary dynamically based on player acceptance rates.

So, if certain missions are accepted more often, LP would be taken away from them and given to less often accepted missions. This keeps the total amount of LP granted the same, but would increase the variety of missions being done.

Note that missions are declined not only because of reward/time factor, but also overall difficulty. So, an inexperienced player may decline the harder missions, for example. This is fine, because this factor would cause more LP to funnel towards to the harder missions, thus the more skilled players would tend to do more difficult/complex missions and vice versa, which is what you want.

To put the point of the previous paragraph a different way, suppose you found some way to balance both hardness and isk popularity. That would actually be bad, because what would happen is that it would make all missions equally attractive to the advanced players, so they would in the position of saying, "this is boring mission but I am going to do it anyway because the payoff is good". If you balance only for the gross acceptance rate, then it will skew the harder / more interesting missions upward in reward, thus making the advanced players have a higher ratio of "fun" or "challenging" missions.

So, basically, balancing on gross acceptance rate would seem to be the best metric for optimizing the overall fun factor.

The current system - LP reward based on mission completion time - seems to work fine; while interesting, I don't think that examining LP distribution would warrant much attention by CCP. With the exception of some people moaning about Incursion LP rewards, the system generally works well and is generally accepted as such by the playerbase.

Hell no, I don't want to lose anything just because I don't want to shoot up another faction or because I decline burner missions. Overall bad idea.

Some missions do need a buff, but I think rather than LP CCP should buff loot drops.
