Is this meant to be satirical?

Because it isn't.

It's just disgusting!

I mean, who wants to live in pink houses???

My dream house is a repurposed resource-extraction outpost in the middle of the stormy seas with plenty of room to expand and machinery to refurbish. Pink houses fitting somebody's taste doesn't seem too far fetched in comparison.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Why would anyone ever want to live in the middle of an ocean? Mountains or land in general would be better.

I like to travel on complex machines rugged and powerful enough to be steered in such an environment without taking too much damage.

Hmm..... good answer. Wouldn't staring at nothing but the horizon and water get boring though?

Staring at nothing but city skylines will also get boring eventually. If I get tired of the same scenery I just take a vacation and go somewhere else for a bit.

To become tired and jaded of city life is to become tired of life. At least, to become too tired and jaded to take precautions and stumbling into the wrong district is to become tired of life.

Sometimes I enjoy getting out to nature.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

So, you enjoy living in a house of meat?

Please, don't give Naupilus ideas...

I think this would be a very tasty house if seasoned and cooked the right way. Maybe with a side of barbeque sauce.
