Some were sold back to me earlier in this thread, so almost 1000 are still available.
One person can max buy 200 in this round though (this is as attempted protection against me suddenly having to buy back a huge number of shares out of the blue)

I have paid out the dividends tonight.

Dividends were 775,000 ISK per share this month. That is 2.6% interest on a share value of 30m each.
Altogether the museum has paid out more than 3 bn in dividends so far.

Why are you sat on 20b+ of investment isk and not purchasing any more assets the last 2 months?

There are several reasons that I have been hesitating. First of all, there has to be items to buy, at a good price.

Second, a goal this year is to buy the first alliance tournament ship, so with that in mind, I need to keep adding more money.

Thirdly, I have hesitated to buy because shares still need to be sold, obviously the size of dividends have not been attractive enough for the shares to sell out as I had hoped.

I have been trying to gage if people were happy with their shares or I should expect to face more buybacks. It seems everything is fine, so I do expect to buy some stuff this month.

Derp, I totally forgot to mention the most important reason that I am sitting on some cash money. As said in the shareholder vote thread back in November: "The museum will use these 30 bn to immediately pay out the current collateralised loan we have, and thus will no longer pay 2% interest on that loan every month. "

This has not happened yet, as I am still waiting for more shares to be sold in order to pay out that 30 bn loan (I won't do it until there is around 40 bn available). The money that now goes to loan interest each month, will instead flow into future share dividends.

Bought more shares. I'll leave the details to Cista, but when I'm occasionally logged in and looking at the forums I'll be glad to answer any questions (if required).

I let Nouva MacGyver buy a big lump of shares (750 more shares). Thanks Nouva!

This is against what I stated in the OP here (but not against any Rules of Governance). I stated that only 200 can be sold to the same person in the same round, due to buyback liquidity.

I let such a big lump be sold because
a) Nouva is a well known investor
b) this sale has lasted for several months so she has had all that time to consider pros and cons of buying more shares than she already did
c) we had a good chat, and Nouva explicitly accepts that in case of buyback, this could take more than a month for her shares.

For anyone else, buyback will be immediate.

Now the 30 bn collateralised loan will be bought out, I am happy :)
