All out there and the flamers........Roll

I injected a number of Skill injectors into my Char, injected a nice new skill "Jump Drive" , but cleared mu skill que and then added the new skill to be trained from zero to 5.

It brought up a message you cannot dual train accounts and then i dismissed ir. However the unallocated SP had reduced and the Jump Drive skill was still at Zero.

I checked and recheck but the SP had dropped and the skill was still zero. I now find out that BEFORE you allocate your SP to your new skill. You have to apply the Removal of old skills!!!

Now I know I'm going to get told NOOB etc from the flamers, but if I can do this any new Char could!!!!

Be warned (Note my petition is in) But this is just a warningAttentionAttention

Not sure what you're saying.

I started with 12.5+ million sp today and now have 21+ million sp.

If you inject the sp it's added as sp for you to allocate. Your training queue remains active.

If you allocate some of that sp to a skill the training skill queue stops until you start it again. In my case when I finished allocating.

I even added a few new skills and placed sp into them without any issue.

What I did notice that if you add a skill that you partially allocated sp to it didn't show the sp allocated visually as in the coloured line. However, it did show the correct amount of training time left.

Its a choice that CCP has decided to do but it Makes a mockery of the time like myself and others have invested from 2003 in this game when chars can jump up so fast.

SP is not everything as experience is also a factor but when a 1 day old char can jump in and fly a titan (highest class Ship) where as it would normally take around 180days with average implants it does not say much about the game

Maybe soon, not yet. Getting lots of internet disconnects. The hub seems to be losing power sometimes briefly and sometimes it requires turning off and back on. Disconnected at least 20 times today already. So might be about a week before I get it sorted out. Not 100% sure it's the hub, but that would be my guess atm.

He removed skills in his skill queue
He added jump drive calibration
He injected skill points
They seemed to go POOF!, with none added to JDC

Reason: He never hit "apply" to the skill queue. The points went to those skills in the queue that he thought were removed.

CCP: You should not allow skill point application when changes to the queue are pending, just like you do with PI.

It has made attributes even more of a useless system than it was already.

I needed to change training back from perception/willpower to intel/memory. After the injection of the sp, it allowed me to continue with perception/willpower.

And, how long does it take to hop in a battleship in terms of training? You know people don't have the patience to wait until they're good and ready.

"Tomahawks?"

Just because someone buys a Ferrari does not mean they are an F1 champion. That's why am so calm about the skill injector.

And just because someone is an F1 champion doesn't mean they can afford a Ferrari. That's why I'm so angry about the extractor prices.

Since SP trading seems to have gone over so well with the instant gratification kiddies it's just a matter of time before a more blatant pay to win scheme is implemented.

The Eve we used to know and love is dying a very slow embarrassing death.

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.

Yeah you can get an 80s Mondial SH for about the same price as a newish family SUV.

No four seater (Okay 2+2. Whatever) should have ever had the Ferrari badge attached to it. What an abomination the Mondial was.

When I started today the basketball goal was ten feet off the ground. Now, it's just a foot and a half and I can look straight down the pipe without jumping! (I thought I'd never be able to slam dunk!)

So what's the difference between SP injection and the character bazaar? If an instant gratification kiddie had enough ISK before, they could still buy a perfect titan pilot as easy as they can now. SP injection just gives more granular control over what skills your character is going to have in the end.

You can't buy SP on the character bazaar; you can't even pick and choose what skills you want; you can't change what your character can do. All of those limitations are a good thing.
