How do you auto-track a ship you've clicked???

So back one day ago, I click on a ship, and the camera would track it. Now, all of a sudden, that's nigh impossible, and you have to RIGHT CLICK the ship, and then choose TRACK to do it, introducing not one, but TWO extra steps, requiring not a small amount of micromanagement to get it right too. In an already stressful environment, that's a TALL ORDER, but hey, I guess that's progress, huh.

So how do you auto-track ships again?

Edit: OK, so Esc > General Settings: Unhook "Try the new camera". Phew! Calming down now.

But yeah, otherwise it didn't seem to bad, actually. The only thing lacking is a decent auto-tracking feature. Is it in there? If so I couldn't find it. Anyone know how?

Without an auto-tracking feature it's close impossible to see where people try to escape, both enemies you need to know where are going in order to stay alove, ad people you're trying to catch while on the hunt. Not being able to see any of that only makes the game frustrating. It's boring because you won't be able to catch your prey, and it's frustrating because you won't ever know where the enemy will be coming from - all things I'd think a high tech and advanced culture flying space ships should have.

Tracking requires additional key presses thanks to the new camera. As for see where ppl warp away to, forget about it. With the new camera and as posted in patch notes "the camera no longer allows tracking of objects in warp." If you are tracking a ship and it starts to enter warp to run away, the tracking camera unlocks so you can't see where they are going. Stupidest thing ever imo. Be sure to visit the new camera feed back thread to give yours.

Feedback

Although in all honesty I fully expect ccp to ignore any and all feedback given as they seem determined to shove it down our throats.

Thank you Sir, I made a post there. It may seem like a simple thing, but changing such a fundamental UI element would destroy the game completely for me, nevermind new ships or stations. All that is great and all, but as long as the game is unplayable for me, then I'll rather play something else, so being able to turn the feature off today really saved my day.
