Does EVE Online works if the Screen Saver is on?

Or does it stops working then?

Like, if I put an industrial ship on auto-pilot to go pick-up cargo that is too large to fit in a Venture,
will it continue if the screen saver is on, or will it stop?

Builds ship in empty Quafe bottle.

It will continue*, but why use a screensaver? Do you have a plasma screen or CRT?

*until your ship is inevitably ganked.

Please do not put industrial ships on autopilot.

Largely depends on whether the screensaver kicks Eve out of focus or not...I have no idea if it does. I know it does on mine, but I run Eve in borderless across two monitors which means the screensaver shows up in front of Eve, where as it would not trigger if I run Eve in fullscreen on one monitor.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

gankers have families to feed too!

There once was a ganker named tisi

A stunningly beautiful missy

To gank a gross miner

There is nothing finer, cept when they get all pissy

Having EVE in focus or not doesn't matter, the only way his ship will stop autopiloting to it's destination is if the screensaver causes his client to quit, or kills his network connection, in which case the ship will go into emergency warp as he goes offline.

I'm in space right now, autopilot engaged, window out of focus, no issues.

Sometimes I squint my eyes when looking at the screen, and that causes few issues too.

The best screen saver is AFK cloaking.

Cool

Still shouldn't affect autopilot. If I lock my OS (Windows key + L) the game continues running in the background without interruption.

It seemed to have worked before I left but I will know when I come back.
My ship should be docked in station.

It was only like 4 jumps away.

Edit:
Yes, the ship is parked and , probably not a scratch.

Heisen-screensaver. EVE is both working and not working unless observed.

My Internet Data Stick was disabled and works from the store.

I was told it was due to settings on my computer and to bring it to the store (with monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc).

I could do it, even if i have to encrypt data.

Due to my work schedule, and other obligations, it may be easier for me to get a new computer (or a new connection to the internet).

Also, they failed to give me a proper receipt for the transaction only stating a balance for a minimum of 3 months for which the device can be disabled (and was in fact disabled).
