Citadel Sentry Tower Drones.

One of the game plays I found entertaining about the Current POS system was the external modules you could shoot. Giving the fleet a choice of take out a module or shoot the POS. For small gang POS bashes, it meant you had to be careful about the dismantlement a POS.

To carry over this game play, I hope there will be an opportunity to add almost like Mega Sentry Tower Class Drones which can be launched by the to give it more fire power and something for players to shoot at to partially limit the DPS produced by the Citadel. Also limited the number of these Sentry Tower Drones to be launched per X time so we don't get the Carrier/Done Cornucopia effect.

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

I think citadels will already be plenty overpowered.

From what I've seen so far they have calibrated defenses with the mind of a huge coalition being the aggressor every single time.
No need for drones "which you can shoot and kill" if they wouldn't work people just wont use them and if they do they make an overpowered thing even stronger.

OP or not OP that is what the Test Server and re-iteration is for. Beside Tower Sentry drones would most likely be a choice between something else. ie Fighters.

I just would like to preserve a game style, a choice to play, Eve should be a choice between X and Y giving a Cidital will be choice to be strong vs A group or B group and not simple choose the most OP option. Tericide has been the best thing which has happened in EVE for some time.

Though thank you for your feed back just I think it is too early to say if some thing is OP or not before it is actually tested on the server.

Your argument essentially amounts to "if you give power to the players, they will abuse it. If it's not abuse-worthy it won't get use and it is thus wasted. Therefore don't give power to players."

Actually the launcher defences appear quite laughably weak once you take that sig radius and velocity into account. They aren't totally useless, but they are barely putting out the firepower of a dread or BS depending on if they are set up for Cap or sub cap on the numbers released so far. Not exactly a massive citadel to seriously change the fleet size equations or anything like that.
