my new launcher works as black

i download the new launcher from www.eveonline.com,when i run it ,the lanucher is black ,i can't see anything excpt blck..i thied to unstair the eve and then run the new launcher , but the ti is still black.

If the launcher isn't starting up, or is just displaying a white (or black) window, try setting an environment variable called QT_OPENGL, either to 'desktop' or 'angle'.

You can set an environment variable by right-clicking on your computer in the Start menu, select Properties, then Advanced System settings, then Environment Variables...

In the dialog that comes up, add a new System variable. Enter 'QT_OPENGL' in the name field, and 'desktop' in the value field (without the quotes).

Let me know if this workaround helps, I'm still trying to get to the bottom of this issue.

This actually worked for me after well over a month of my launcher being busted and no other thread giving me any help. I'm on a Windows 10 install fyi.
