High Sector System Index

I think that High Sec space should be governed by an Index similar to how Null Space is governed.

For Military Index the more combat that takes place within the system between NPC and Pilot and Pilot vs Pilot, pod killing or pod auto-destruct not included, the more likely that higher end combat sites normally found in Low and Null would spawn in the system.

In order for the Military Index to increase in bars where each bar represents a chance that a higher end Combat Site spawns then an X amount of NPC's would need to be destroyed.

The index bar would have five levels of Index Escalation.

The breakdown for percentages would be as follows:

Belt Rats would account the largest percentage gain.

Frigates - .025%
Destroyers - .035%
Cruisers - .050%
Battle Cruisers - .075%

Mission Rats would account for the second largest percentage gain.

Frigates - .015%
Destroyers - .025%
Cruisers - .035%
Battle Cruisers - .050%
Battle Ships - .075%
Industrials - .1%
Stasis Towers - .2%
Combat Towers - (missile, laser, projectile, hybrid) .3%

Once the base criteria above have been met a specialized site would spawn in the Combat Site list that would boost the next bar by 25% when completed. The boost site would be comparable to running a Sansha Incursion Mission site requiring at least ten fleet members to defeat. The boost site would not have to be completed however to boost the index. Running missions and destroying belt rats would continue to boost the index with each new bar requiring more NPC destroyed to escalate to the next bar.

Once the base criteria has been met more difficult combat sites would spawn. When the Index was close to being completed an even more difficult completion site would spawn that would need to be completed in order for the next bar on the index to to be accessed to fill up. Once the very last last index bar was close to completion a low level escalation room would spawn. Once defeated the Index would remain at Index level three for two weeks and then de-spawn with a two week interval in between being able to spawn a new Index in the system again.

Mining Index

The Mining Index would be somewhat different than the Military Index in so much that a certain amount m/3 would need to be mined before the more rare ore spawned. The mining index is by far the most grueling Index to escalate because the rare ore does not spawn until the fifth bar has been completed. Once completed rare ore will spawn for a week in the system and then de-spawn where a buffer of three weeks will ensure that the same system is not ground.

The rare ore that spawn would range from the lowest to highest value Null space ore.

You know it's going to be good when they put high sector into title.

Wait does this guy think that the sec stands for sector?

Sadly a lot of these concepts are in play in null sec and low sec, and it what makes it unique. I think this would make these Three area too similar.

May I recommend going to null sec and joining on of the major null sec alliances. You I'll have to learn to fly T1 ships with greater wisdom though.

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

I think that the only extra high sector sites we should be adding are those that naturally spawn in middle sector systems.

Well, as highsec carebears like to say to highsec pvpers:

Just go to nullsec if you want to play that way.

Simple solution requiring no change to mechanics.

So you basically want all null features in highsec but with your concord protection. Yeah, not gone happen.

Why ? Make your guess. But i think i won´t be for lore reasons.

The better solution would be to get rid of system upgrades in null so that there is good and bad space in null. Folks might (slim chance) actually fight over good space. Right now null doesn't really have good space. There is good space and bad space that is easily upgraded to good space.

HS should be bad space. I'm assuming you want better HS pve content, but you don't want triple BS belt spawns to gobble up afk mackinaws. I'm assuming you want better HS pve content but you don't want concord to take a vacation while I wreck your mission boat. I'm assuming you want better HS pve content, but you also want free access to all stations and services w/out the risk of losing them. I'm assuming you want better HS pve content for free.
