Minnie vs Amarr FW Heating up for 2012?

I noticed one of the major corps from Gal FW along with various pilots from other Gal FW have moved over to help on the Minmitar front. Most likely in search of goodfights since Gal vs Squids is too currently lopsided.

Is this an indication that Minnie vs Amarr warfront will heat up in early 2012? One hopes so.

Why not - we've had some of the caldari helping us for awhile now... I even believe we've helped them a bit as well!!! OMG OMG OMG.
In another news - things HAVE heated up some - Amarr have been making a push to reclaim thier systems and are now starting to take Minmitar systems (Lantorn, Sieside, Dal etc...)

Are there still big fleet fights (30+ each side) happening where the whole militia is involved or is it just corp only fleets ?

Full, open Militia fleets do still happen from time to time. Most of the Amarr corps that have been around for ages (TMFED, SBA, 0000, KOTMC, PIE, ARETR, SR) will happily get stuck in together for a good fight. WBR will sometimes join in. Often they prefer to fly alone though.

Similar on the Minmatar side, CTRL-Q, -FPS-, WEAZL, AUTOZ, TRIAD and now SP-DR from Gallente seem to be happy to get together for a big fleet.

Last decent one was last week on Auga station: http://www.amarr-empire.net/killboard/?a=kill_related&kll_id=253642. Was a nice fight, pretty even losses on both sides no whinging about blobbing afterwards, which is always nice.

One before that was probably the Battle for Tannakan POCOs, Gamer Chick did a report here from the Minmatar perspective here http://www.gamerchick.net/2011/12/battle-of-tannakan.html . WBR wanted to stay separate that time, if memory serves.

When is a major alliance like that joining any militia good? Last I heard PL was hired to attack -A-. Why would an alliance like that fight in the militia for free when they can get paid in null. Makes no sense. Cant just choose a major alliance like that and say they will fight without facts to back yourself up. If you have them, please show them. I think -A- will love to see them leave their space.

Can someone fill me in, as I am still a noob to these standings things...

Im in GalMil. If i fly down to Minnie space to lend a hand, will minnie show up as blue? Will Amarr show as red? How will I show up to them? What if I am below -2.5? What if I am below -5? ( Not that I would ever do such a scandalous thing - this part of the question is ... for a friend. Yeah - a friend.)

If they dont show up as red/blue, what do i need to do to make it so? How do I make sure that only the right folk are shootin at me?

amarr show up as WT just as the caldari, minmatar show up as neutral, so get standings sorted or check the character before u shoot him :p if u go minus 5 u will show up as red on evryones overview, also the minmatar

Im Federation all the way, but I wish i didn't have to work with the mimitar republic as I hate them.

This would be all better over nite if the Caldari maned up apologized and came back to the federation they helped found, and the ammar go back to church. Then we can get on with Bringing the remaining part of the mimatar that aren't already Federation citizens or amarian laborers in to the fold. And if some good fights happened it would be all the better Big smile

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.
