I've looked but I can't find the answer to this question.

After you extract ALL SP's from a skill can you delete the skill from your character sheet?

NO.

It's been asked and answered like 5 times in the last week. Check the "skill trading" dev blog thread in the Information Portal sub-forum.

Good question, as it's likely to remain a skill at 0.

There does need to be a way of removing them at least for the purists,

I think CCP is trying to go the other way: you can now insert any skillbook you want, even if you don't meet the prerequisites, which results in all-skills-at-0. Makes it a bit more convenient for a null or wormhole player to create an alt, pump it full of skillbooks, then leave high-sec forever.

In any case, this scenario becomes another way to have several skills at 0. So it's not just from extractor use.

I'm betting they're going to introduce "skill packs" soon. Tell a newbie to buy his support skills and he can get such a thing from the market (it'll cost probably the sum of all the skills inside). But, basically, right-click, inject the pack, and boom, 82 skills injected at 0.

Well, in my opinion there should be an option to remove the skill book now.

If you have the ability to remove the SP's you should have the ability to remove the skill book.

Just have the little warning, "Are you sure you want to delete this skill book?"

Seems pretty basic to me.

I like it. Just be careful where you use it. Jita is bad, academy is good.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

You can hide level 0 skills from the character sheet (not from the training queue though).

Second dev post in the dev blog on the subject, and if you are too lazy, then

Quote:
CCP Cognac: ....As of now there are no plans to remove skill books when extraction takes you to 0.

This will mean that we will need to do some changes to skill training which will hopefully also allow you to inject skill books you don't have the prereqs instead of having to haul them around waiting for that prereq to finish(no promises this will be available on realease).

Tell you what, buy like 6 PLEXes, $100, and donate them to CCP with a note saying that you're paying for 2 man hours for someone to implement this change you want. Then another $100 for 2 more man hours for their QA to check it make sure no bugs are introduced.

Or, as an alternative, make your suggestion in the Player Suggestions and Ideas forum, and perhaps they'll implement it.

Because, as you remarked elsewhere, General Discussion is just for us to troll everyone and provide no answers.

Not just trolling.

Troll Baiting is a fruitful and perfectly valid pass time in GD as well.

Why? So you can repurchase the skill again later should you decide you need it after all?

Same trolls.

Same unanswered questions.

And when I say "unanswered", I mean by anyone that actually has a say in it.

Perhaps the fact your posting in GD rather than the correct forum (Skill Discussion) may be having a slight effect on the quality of the response ?

Not to mention that the quality of the original post has a positive relationship to the quality of the responding post!

It has been answered, with no less than a quote from a Dev; because my mother said that I should be nice to those that are less fortunate than myself, I'll provide you with a link to the post the quote is from.

TL;DR the answer is no, and there are no changes planned at the current time.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
