Capital Ship Skill itself question

Hey all :)

Ok so I finally started to train to a carrier on this char (some 250 days away from flying it (since i want all relevant skills at 5)). Now the one skill I am still confused about... the capital skill itself.. taking it to 4 is a no brainer but is it worth the 45 days to get to 5 over say the jump drive calibration and fuel conservation. How often will that extra agility matter? I mean Ill probably do it in the end unless a lot of people tell me otherwise, I plan to pester some cap pilots I know later but none are online at the moment and I do have some time now during my lunch break to fiddle with my plan.

I did google the hell out of it and it seems like most seem to say to 4 only but I figured I would ask here. Oh and "if you have to ask" yeah i know but we all got to start flying caps sometime right? and cant know it all beforehand. :)

You only skill Capital Ships 5 if you want to fly a Titan, otherwise there are a lot better skills to train in that 45 days...

I have NO plans what so ever to get into any form of supercapital. So 4 is enough? :) Cool that is a nice saving of time to get those jump skills up then instead. Sweet.

Confirming this. Capital Ships IV is enough unless you are going for a Titan (which requires V)

Sweet. 4 it is then unless the people i will be flying with put their foot down and say otherwise. Thanks

I never bothered training it past level 3, as I'll never pilot a super, and 5% more agility for a capital is almost meaningless.

Especially if you go for triage.
