I don't know if any changes were made in recent years but the general consensus has been that missile batteries suck. Does this still hold true?

My opinion has always been that, POS weapons all generally suck.

Since they still use CPU, they still shut off when the POS goes reinforced. Meaning they can't be used for the second stage of the fight when the enemies return to blow up the POS after reinforcement is over.

Gun turrets can still be repaired up and used in the second round, so they are still preferred.

You can still just orbit the pos with a fast enough ship to waste all the ammo in the missile battereis so... yes, useless.

Cruise Missile Batteries are in the same boat with Small Blaster Batteries. That is, they're 100% worthless. (Just for different reasons.)

I suggest if you already have some, sell them fast to some idiots who don't know any better, or hold on to them until CCP removes POS, so you get either a collector's item or reimbursement.

I've sold what could be sold and reprocessed the rest.
