Faction modules already have better stats. So I say no to your detailed proposal.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

No way, this isn't diablo.

It would make no sense either.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

The only way something like this could be implemented is if it only affected fitting costs. I could see Fed Navy Blasters w/ a Fed Navy web, Fed Navy AB or MWD and some Fed navy Mag. Stabs on a Fed Navy Mega have less PWG/CPU requirements.

I don't think a "set bonus" should do anything w/ ship resistance, ship potential DPS, capacitor or speed other than the effects the modules fitted would have anyway.

you get ganked and laughed at.

if you are lucky and its a slow day you may even get an alod.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing sort of a set-ish bonus for faction items, but more in the line of the faction items working ever-so-slightly better if installed into the correct faction frame. For example, a Sister's probe launcher might have some sort of tiny bonus when installed in an Astero rather than in a Magnate.

The idea here is that faction items are built differently than regular items, hence their different stats. I could easily see that the items in question were designed to be used on platforms designed by the same team.

To clarify, I think that this should be a fitting bonus rather than a performance bonus. I don't want to create the next MUST-HAVE thing, but I think that a small fitting bonus would allow for some interesting fits and still not turn the game on its ear. Also, to clarify, I think that this should work with only "faction" ships. That means getting a bonus from fitting the Caldari Navy Launchers on a Navy Issue ship, not any random caldari ship.

The thematic bonus of part-to-ship would push the feel of EvE's lore a bit, and I think it's a bit more logical than just similar items working together when placed on any platform.

When I want to install a device or part into a machine, whether vehicle, computer, or vacuum cleaner, if I use a part or device made from the same manufacturer, then I can generally be assured that the part will fit and work as if it were tailor made to be there (which of course... it was). If I use any other brand, then I may have to jury rig it to make it work or at least make allowances to move the machine's innards about in order to make the proper room.

Anyway, tl;dr version, Thematic fitting bonus for faction items installed into faction issued ships of the same faction.

why u hate people with isk??? whats funny about some1 dieing in style.... people have 500 bill in wallets and losing a bill is nothing to them while u gankers think that u just kill a holy grail...

ccp shoud suport people like this... and offer them more faction things .... this woud not efect pvp and null sec at all... woud only efect induvidials...

gathering together lets say officier viziam set woud cost u araund 50b ... so for 50b u shoud get op stats...

problem is that evrything in eve is to cheap.... faction items are cheap and ships never been so cheap... kinda sux... pirate faction bs shoud never go under 4bill and chepest t1 bs shoud be 1b... this will even help suicide problems in high sec... while a trasher woud cost 50m and a ventura 10m.... people will stop ganking the poor starting people....

1) I currently have 3 and a half billion in my head alone, I'm far from poor but I would rather paint my board with your isk than mine.
This is why I don't dress entirely in faction stuff, t2 guns are almost always better than faction(which are ganker katnip)

2) 50 bill does get you op stats, that's why it eats 50 bill. Thankfully player skill and experience will break a wallet tank every day of the week.

3) player run economy ,

4) im not a ganker and you were already on my shitlist before you said that.

The set bonus of faction weapons and modules is that you don't have to train weeks and/or months for T2 equivelant.

the more freedom we have in fitting the better set bonuses limit freedom
