I was away from the game for about 2 years afk training did the test server rules change? It used to be a banable offense to pod kill at any time on the test server. I got my new clone setup and back in a new ship to test just now and during the very first fight I was podded again by Delamath93. How in any way does this promote testing?

They changed the rules because the main testing system has a clone bay in the station. If you were killed at the station then that is against the rules. You should also check the forums so you know the rules and see the topic that is for the very purpose of this post you have made.

Yeah loosing your pod sucks.

But:

a) skill clone was removed, so no losing of skillpoints anymore
b) there is the /moveme command you can type in chat where you can choose to be ported to the testsystem again
c) you can set your skill clone in the testsystem
d) your implants cost 100isk

So yeah, it sucks (and I don't shoot pods on sisi, except when I am using smartbombs to clear drones or something, because there is no use to it), but it also is not the end of the world.

the topic for posting rule violations is here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=6513&find=unread

They don't seem to mention podding or even fighting at the station as a bannable offense in the first post, so while that stuff may be against the rules, it may not be a bannable offense per say. I'd have to dig into it a bit deeper.

Long story short, they don't care and won't do anything about it.

Best thing to do is dock up if you're AFK.
