I like the format of the old launcher. I am not one of those that needs to launch multiple profiles at once so there is not much benefit to me to use the new launcher save the stability and security code behind the scene.

One thing I would like to see is when I click PLAY, I'd like to see an indication that something is running. It takes between 2 to 10 seconds for EVE to come up and as it sits there I am not sure it is running. When I first started using it I made the mistake of clicking PLAY a second time and two EVE's started at once. I'd like to see a moving thing that lets me know it is running.

Thanks CCP! You make a great product that I enjoy daily.

The new launcher keeps track of running EVE clients and will not let you start multiple instances for the same account. We will not be adding any new features to the old launcher and will soon stop supporting it at all, so I'd encourage you (and everybody else) to install the new launcher sooner than later.

Hi and thanks for your good work first to CCP
i like the new launcher - when running on Windows what i only do when unable to log inn under Linux. But under said OS it's useless, even more as it doesn't remember even one password like the old one does. Eager to see the new launcher work on my system so pls have a great heart for users like me;)

I liked the new launcher right up until the point where it stopped working.

Better write a devblog now then, because the last one was in October and was only talking about testing it.

You'll have to include extensive details of the step-to-step manipulations needed to transfer settings from the old launcher to the new, for oneclient and multiple clients setups.

And consideration for people who have their shared cache folder outside of the default, expected location. For instance a Ram disk, secondary eve-dedicated NVME, or similar storage setup. Alternately folks with small SSD's and larger platter based storage focused hard drives where the shared cache might be stored in unexpected by the new launcher, directories.
