So if you identify yourself as a gangster killing saps who mine, what do you identify yourself as now? IMO gangster is what you are now, coward the former.

how do you feel about ppl actually showing you respect rather than classing you as a casual scrub who only kills haulers & mining barges?

"Gankster" is what Tisi said..not gangster. I know, reading is hard. Blink

Yeah, running through highsec as a -10 is a walk in the park. Ganksters are actually in the most difficult space in the game. It goes highsec, sov null, npc null, lowsec, wormhole, highsec as a -10. I'm glad for the easier job.

Reformed means that the system works, after the 2436th time I was sent to space jail for 15 mins I finally learnt my lesson and resolved to get my space-life back on track. I got an honest job delivering torpedoes.

How much dps should you bring to the table to take out a Retriever in a 0.7 system? Cause I brought 645 and got him into 30% armor before I died. Was just curious...



P.S. Hope WINGSPANTT treats you right, it just wasn't for me. I am going back to highsec wardecs cause I need to write more stories and need content.

I'm not the OP but I'll attempt to field this one.

You've got 10 seconds(+/-1) before Concord respond in a 0.7, a little more if you've pre spawned them elsewhere in system.

A fail fit Retriever has around 9500 HP against blaster damage, so you need 950 DPS total, or 2 Catalysts with around 500 DPS each, to munch through it in the allotted time. A properly fitted Retriever will shrug off 2 T2 fitted Catalysts in a 0.7, bring more.

A damage control II is a wonderful thing, it brings the figure on an otherwise untanked Retriever to around 14000 HP against blasters. I consider it an essential module on my resource gathering ships.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Believe it or not there are much more lucrative trades than ganking. Aside from the fact that you can make money and not have to share what spoils you have with another dozen or two pilots you might just have the opportunity to find out what it's like blowing up a ship that is not only armed and fighting back but what it's like to be outnumbered and WIN!

Killing a ship by ganking is akin to going to war for your country and dying by choking on a wild grape.
