While I must apologise to Will [1], for my abuse and misuse of his immortal words, we have to admit that he *was* pretty spot-on. Your evil deeds, along with some arguably good ones, are now immortalised with killmarks painted onto the responsible ship hull.

In a labour of love (coloured with an obsessive countenance) I’m working to document killmark formats, locations, and notable stories.

Here’s where I am at so far.

Yes, I know there’s a reddit dood doing similar via a spreadsheet but I simply cannot afford reddit [2] … and I’m working on a more book style compendium.

So, if you have killmark emblazoned ships - that I do not yet have images for, or that have interesting / entertaining stories attached – I’d love to be able to incorporate your images into this work. For me the ideal image shows the entire ship, or most of it, from a perspective that you can see the killmarks. In-station or in-space is not a problem. I’d prefer not to have the killmarks circled or anything, so I can do that in a fairly consistent form. An imgur posted link is fine.

I also want any neat stories behind your killmarks. There’s a couple in compendium already, in the form of ‘related kills’ links – see Rattlesnake and Moros. They don’t have to be lots-of-kills stories, just something that adds value to the iamges.

It's just a database entry so that, and many other things, is entirely doable if the game developer were convinced of the merit or the game owner of the profit potential.
I kinda liked the idea of being able to click on a killmark and get linked to the responsible killmail, but accept the development effort needed to do this (and possibly the lag potential) far outweighs the likely benefit.
Me, I just rejoice in my few killmarks and cry when I lose a killmarked ship.
