Character Information TABs re-ordered in window

Hello CCP,

I am sure I not the only one annoyed about the tabs in the info window to be never in the same spot.
my idea below should stop the jumping tab issue.

The tab jumping issue is there when pilots do not have a "Bio" setup in their Character Sheet Biography window.

Description: should be first tab.
Employment History: should be second tab.
Standings: right after Employment History.
Decorations: right after Standings.
Then Bio should be right after Decorations.
Notes: can be last.

See picture attached: http://prntscr.com/9yrb9c

Let me know guys if you like this idea.

It would be nice to have the tabs always in the same spot when you open a new window.

Thx, Defier.

Yeah I'd support this.

Often when I'm checking pilots in local for threats, it's good to see both their employment history and their bio, but because not everyone has a bio, you often end up opening their info to a different tab (eg. Decorations or Description) which are pointless.

Would be great, if you selected Empliyment History, that it opens there for the next person too; and changing the tab order would be the easy way to achieve a QOL improvement.

Not a huge issue, but +1 from me.

Is it really that hard to click a tab?

Not really but it could be an easy fix from CCP... making it smoother for us players. Reducing clicks is a good thing in my book and I always want to EVE to be better and better. Thx.

I think Bio should stay as the first one open as the description is boring as ****

I'll give you points for being honest, so I'll do the same.

If a dev picks this up and implements it, I wouldn't complain, as it really makes no difference to me. Smile

More important than reordering would it be to get rid of the tab switching when a tab is missing. A char info window without a bio tab jumps one tab to the right when you previously had a char window open with a bio tab. Furthermore, if we already reorder tabs, it would be more beneficial if Notes is the first tab (as it is the most important to have in certain instances), employment history, standings, bio next and description the last as it is the least important. Your sorting variant is just as useless as the current version.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

This should be done for all windows with tabs to ensure the tab you're on stays the same.

I run into this when checking item requirements as well.

Or

The Bio tab could still be populated... just blank.

Or simply make the "BIO" tab always present even if it is empty.

Thx, Defier.

It's a very annoying thing as it is now, I support this fully
