When are you joining the Militia?
We are not, thank you very much.

But whyyyyyyyy?
In no particular order:
Ruins standings for people who do not want their standings ruined.
Too many Blooders.
Too much drama.
Too much a diplomatic headache with reds of blues of reds and that sort of things.
Don't enjoy being used in toy wars despite understanding the necessity to stop an all-out one.
Not a supporter of Malaetu Shakor.

What could I do to convince you to join?
Try offering isk. A lot of it.

But that's so... mercenary!
You noticed! You so clever.

What's your problem with Malaetu Shakor, anyway?
Again, in no particular order:
A very likely Jovian plant.
Got into power by "someone" mysteriously murdering half of the legally elected parliament, without a lawful re-election.
Encourages superstition, fake spiritualism, and narrow interpretations of "true Matari ways" in order to promote his own cronies via the Tribal Council.
Got into power by catering to warmongers, but subsequent policy has proven that was just talk, which makes it rather hard to trust anything else he says.

Are you not afraid that your kin will get in trouble for you speaking out so openly?
A little, for sure. However, local business on Seb tribal lands planetside Matar does not much care for either capsuleer loudmouths or Republic general politics, so not too much, especially considering how little I matter at Rhiannon these days.

Does IceAO in general hold your views?
No. We do not require any particular political stance regarding the Republic of our pilots. On a capsuleer personal level, IceAO has hired many old friends of mine who had left space discouraged over the same matters. You should not, however, assume anything of any particular individuals stance towards the Republic or the Sanmatar, simply from an IceAO tag by their name. Many of them remain as loyal as ever.

What's your stance towards the Amarr Empire?
I am still Matari, you know. There's this Reclaiming business still in effect that makes it pretty difficult for free people to be friends with them.

TLF militia are mostly imbecile Chaos Fighters.
I am glad you choose not to be related with such scum, who with foam at mouth lose their civility and attack the Empire just because of Amarr lifestyle.

If you are going a mercenary way, perhaps, I could convince you to join our side (of Amarr Empire and Caldari State). After all, so called Chaos Fighters are enemies not of just Amarr Empire, but also Caldari State and the whole civilization. I believe that Chaos Fighters are a direct threat to minmatar themselves as well. Especially to minmatar living in the Amarr Empire.

You could help your own people by killing Chaos Fighters and TLF members.

No, thanks. The one political promise I have given my pilots is that we will not fly for the Empire.

For once I find myself in agreement with the terrorist mastermind.

For once?

You are, beside myself, the only person I know among capsuleers, who clearly from the beginning saw the real point of the Militias.

Before that, you were one of the very few Amarrians who understood, and therefore properly feared, the reasoning in Prime Minister Midular's politics.

Should you, at any point, wish to defect, I'd hire you in an instant.

For salvation of not only yourself, but all your children and descendants! From the 9th generation, though, but still. Think about their souls!

See, I understand this. We operate a similar system in Pyre - we'll entertain offers from many clients, but never the FDU. Even for a lot of isk.
