I played EVE years ago. Decided to try it again on a trial account. Now I'm considering re-activating my old account. Is there a way to look at the characters on that account without re-activating it? I'mjust not sure if it's worth re-activating that one versus starting a new one.

you could try to activate the "hours for plex" feature, this will let you play for about 4h. However you can do this only once per activation.

(If the feature is currently disabled, file a petition and you will certainly get the hours)

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Like above: Hours for PLEX option

Gives you 4 hours (without payment) on the account (you need the account details) to check the characters and as the name of the option tells, use the 4 hours to get PLEX to activate the account again.

Outside of every in-game corp having you marked RED, why would you want to start a new account vs re-activating your old one?

Skills take a long time to train and you can train any skill on any account. there isn't much of a reason to start a new account, unless you just want to train the same skills over again...
