Only if you intend to assemble and board the ship.

If you want one. It isn't needed either.

If you just want storage, an Advanced Large Ship Array is the largest capacity.

I haven't checked recently (will), but even a Component Array was a better choice than a CHA for storage. Plus it can be used to make fuel blocks.

EDIT: Looks like CCP increased the size of the CHA.

Enough for what? Because if you talk about storage volumes for packaged ships probalby the medium-ass array is enough already: 2M cubes vs 3M of the CHA. Or what any corp living in wspace uses, the LSAA, 18.5M and stfu.

edit: ninja'd like a pro

The ALSAA is 19.5M and has the same fitting requirements.

ok so output from Assembly Array - Adv. Small Ship can be set to output in Component Array storeage ? Just has to be in range ?

Output cannot be changed. It is ALWAYS to the same array.

All you can select is which hangar (or container) in the array.

To use a SMA or CHA (or move stuff between arrays) you have to manually drag-and-drop stuff.

i.e. stuff built in a Advanced Small Ship Assembly Array will ALWAYS be delivered to the same array. You don't need any other array / module.
