As by now, the status of the five construction sites has not visibly been changed or otherwise updated. Special Accounts Manager Lee Brinalle gave a positive feedback about the ongoing reclaiming of the Research Components and the public relations department untertook some efforts to keep track of the donations for the interested public. Anyway, the construction sites appear as already reported above.

Given the initial appearance of the sites at STAGE 1, I wonder if construction elements are now assembled elsewhere and will be deployed in siginificantly bigger steps.

Fellow Pilots,

With the latest press release of Special Accounts Manager Lee Brinalle (Intaki Bank) it seems like the construction efforts of the five Astrahus exemplar sites are ready to enter next stage. Especially since Freedom Extension and Propel Dynamics have joined the Upwell Consortium, bringing in experience in the fields of courier, transport, and short-range warp technology. Ms. Brinalle invited the space travelling public to visit the construction sites.

However, yesterday, the construction sites in Anjedin and Mara still appeared unchanged. I would like to kindly ask if someone can visit the five sites again today and report any new findings here. I won't have the time to travel the route by myself over the next days.

Thank you,

Likewise, Mara.

I assume Upwell has a lot of materiel it's moving right now.

As for Propel Dynamics, fascinating! I wonder what use Upwell would have for a propulsion firm? Are they planning new freight or resourcing designs? Also, now three firms involved in the Stratios project are involved in Upwell. Hm. I wonder if the relationships formed during that project made for some obvious choices in collaboration.

A minor historical aside; Propel Dynamics was founded by the Sotiyo-Urbaata team that first developed warp technology, and is now a member of the Ishukone family of corporations, as we see with its headquarters livery. Also interestingly, Propel's basic Galnet dossier notes some prior associations with the Legion, presumably due in part to its participation in Ishukone's Kiiragustektaa, which assisted in the Legion ship development program.

An update! Based on some Galnet sites, I paid a fresh visit to Mara to view the site.

Construction is now underway! You'll notice the holography showing Naava Edios, the ARC coordinator who took first in the race. Congratulations, again, to my compatriot in this matter.

Well, look there!

Actually... it reminds me of the headgear for the Dark Magus character in that ongoing epic The Last Phantasm.

STAGE 2

Exactly three weeks have passed, since the Upwell Consortium laid the foundation stone to the five Astrahus exemplar sites. There was a significant early break, due to a vulnerability caused by network security issues. The Serpentis were supposed to be responsible and some capsuleers took the opportunity to attack the construction sites.

Today, a considerable step was made in the construction process. The Scope featured some impressive sights. All five construction sites are equally advanced, at least from the outer appearance:

Mara Stage 2
Anjedin Stage 2
Asgeir Stage 2
Ourapheh Stage 2
PF-346 Stage 2

What else can be observed? First of all, the construction sites are now properly identified by NEOCOM interfaces and Upwell's Department of Friendship and Mutual Assistance broadcasts the 'winners' of the Astrahus research component race. Secondly, the Astrahus class citadels seems to be constructed in three major towers which are now undergoing the assembling process. A top view shows the general layout and the heavy construction work along the whole construct frame. A closer inspection shows, that the Astrahus class's internal layout is heavily build on horizontal layers. Several of them are visible, some of them form remarkable trenches.

Other prominent features are silos, blocks and similar features of unknown purpose. One platform floats slightly apart from the main body, connected by a fragile flexible connection. This might be a docking element for capital vessels or an element which suffers from being built in directly (like sensor arrays). Maybe it is only deployed for the ongoing construction work or will blend with the main body while the work continues.

Brief update, not directly related to the exemplar Astrahus Citadel construction: It should be noted that Upwell Consortium experienced a security leak. The Scope reports in the news subtitles that the Fortizar Citadel blueprints might be scheduled for SCC market release soon.
