no server option in launcher

maybe its just me being an idiot but I dont see a server option in the launcher. just tranq and players on

Click the giant settings cog to select which test servers are enabled.
Then click the arrow next to Tranquility.
If you do not have one then you have the old launcher and should get the new one.

that was it.. i had been gone a couple years and to me i was using the new launcher lol. installing new new one now

I had the same problem... but why do I have to come here to find out about this new launcher when it is obviously so much better than the old one? Saving account credentials... no more typing in long character names on every login... managing accounts from the launcher. And I was using this old crap out of ignorance. I'd imagine that the client would patch itself to the newest launcher.
