I would add, that in addition to the above, procreation in a thriving gene pool and the ability to raise one's children to adulthood and thus continue the species is probably the only reason for society.

Or as an old associate of mine put it, "The reason for society, is to get girls."

'Family units' are a form of society as well. The main participants of this form of society share the interest of reproduction and the nurturing of offspring. Moreover, 'Family units' do work well, to a degree, in the defense of the offspring until they reach maturity and can finally fend for themselves (and go out there and find a partner to start another 'Family Unit'). However, participants of this form of society do also have to sacrifice some rights and freedoms (for example, in no getting drunk on Friday nights and no spending weekends with dudebros in favour of playing with the children and etc).

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

So you feel that false sense of togetherness in TEST. Looks like TEST's footing is alot more tenuous than originally estimated.
