They are both still perfectly good ships, the GIla still gets like 700+ DPS with Rapid lights and can take most ships in its class (better/ more flexible than other pirate cruisers?)

I did the sames thing on my second account , She now has every drone skill to 5 other than fighter bombers and advance drone control (or whatever that cap skill is called). Drones are used in almost all ships so its not a terrible thing. That and 2X Cruiser 5 and Hac 5 are great skills to have.

I would skill up what you have to a point were you are highly effective (so you have stuff to fly now) and then branch out.

Thread title should be, "Have fun playing the game, instead of worrying about min-max'ing."

Example: I have an alt that hasn't remapped attributes since birth, 6 years ago.

Just train for a useless ship that no one fly now. CCP will not nerf such ships. Big smile
