I know this has been posted a hundred times before but Ive gone through almost every thread about it and have not found any solution.

Every single time I log into eve be it a patch day or not I have to sit and wait at "Creating patch 0.0%" for 10-30 minutes before I can hit play. Some days It gets stuck for so long I give up and move on to play something else.

I have tried repairing the launcher, reinstalling the launcher, deleting the cache, reinstalling all of EVE yet the problem persists.



I thought the launcher was actually downloading an update and a graphical error prevents the 0.0% from updating, but that can't be the case because once I can hit "Play" I can close the launcher reopen it and it makes me wait another 10+ minutes before I can hit play again. (Only did that as a test, I know I can leave the launcher open to switch characters/accounts)

So whats the Deal? When I sit down to play a game, especially one I pay monthly for, I expect to be able to play it!

Did you move your mouse over the launcher? Typically the launcher will stop gltiching and show you the download/loading status (until you move the mouse elsewhere in your screen).

How did you Veterans start?

I have to do this on a semi regular basis. Wiggle the mouse pointer over the launcher for it to work. Strangest damn thing I've ever seen. It's been happening less often now though.
