Sisi still down. RIP TEST open practices. 2 weeks in a row.

I can log onto Duality. But most of our team can't get it to work despite identical settings, shortcuts, etc.

So uh, are we actually gonna be able to test anything before the next patch in like 2 weeks? Skill point trading and such is kind of important.

This should have been expected anyway, most of the CCP staff will be away for the weekend, it's similar with other game companies.

Well, it's to be expected on certain items.
Typically, server failure have weekend parties to address the issue.

However, it is only a test server, so it probably doesn't hold enough weight to warrant weekend work.

it will stay down for maybe two or three days imo. ccp should stop throwing hamsters into grinder. i wonder what gone wrong with the hardware so they cant start the server

The biggest problem I see is that CCP doesn't give updates often, if at all.

I know there others besides myself that sometime schedule real life around in game events.

On a side note, I don't believe that CCP Habakuk gets enough help, support or recognition for all of his efforts.

It is the weekend. Plus as stated in a previous post, this is a test server and it's not a part of your subscription payment, it's an optional extra that you don't need to involve yourself in.

You know, its comments like this that would make me totally ok with CCP stating that the test servers are not for general use anymore and you need to apply, be accepted and active in one of the volunteer programs to use them from now on.

Some people's sense of entitlement because they purchased a recurring service is, heh, a bit off.

What is and what one thinks should be are rarely equal.

I guess some players may complain because they want to (continue to) test and find issues with skill extractors/injectors?

Like "let's make sure these features cause as few issues as possible". Several issues were found already. There was no new patch/chance to test if those got fixed yet.
