Hi there everyone, I was wondering what in terms of DPS, tank, and speed is really the best ship in all of eve? and if so what's the fit? what can it handle? I hope people from all over the cluster reply so I can get different views from different people.

DPS & Tank: Titan

Speed: Leopard (warp speed), Lots of fast frigates at sub-warp speed

If that seems like a flippant answer, well it's factual. Maybe not what you were really after, but it's an impossible question to answer based on that question because there is no best at speed, tank and DPS.

Friendship is the only true answer.

But the beauty of EVE is that there is no "best ship", only right tools for certain jobs.

There isnt one. Ships have roles. Some are good at some things some are good at others. The best ship in eve is the one that suits your playstyle.

The best ship is hands down the Thrasher. Or at least, it will be once this new redesign gets done and implemented.

I hate minmatar ship designs but my god, this thrasher; best ship in eve. Only the Astero comes in as a close second best ship in eve.

That redisign makes it look like a caldari satelite

Old thrasher is best thrasher, and my opinion counts more than yours cause I've flown thousands of em, all lost in unfortunate accidents.

My 1.5B isk cloaky Tengu has never even been targeted before. Of course, it's either cloaked or docked and has never fired off a single missile before.

Only ship you can fly day 1 and continue to train skills which apply to it for like 40mil SP training. Good all-around boat, wish they were cheaper and not in limited supply!
