Duality Mass Test: Friday 29th January 2016

Hi!
We are planning a mass test for the Citadels sandbox on Duality on Friday, January 29th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?
Core functionality, involving a fleet fight and maybe a trip to a partially functional Citadel.

IMPORTANT: The Citadel is still in development, this is not a final and fully feature complete Citadel. Functionality, numbers, art, all these things are still in development and may change before release, this is a sneak preview of what is coming, not the 100% final product.
NOTE: If you are in a (super)carrier, you will see a fighter bay that is still a work in progress. It will not work in any way.

How to connect to Duality for this test:

Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"


Test steps: (subject to change)

  • Be docked in one of the stations in FD-MLJ
  • Fit and unfit some modules
  • Change ships, finishing in the ship you plan to take to the fleet fight
  • Undock and align to X-BV98 gate
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Fleet X: Align and jump to Poitot setup gate camp
  • Fleet W: Jump in to Poitot
  • Commence fleet fight
  • Warp to Citadel beacon in Poitot



What else should I know?

Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
Bring any ship you want but keep in mind there is a big fight at the end so tank and weapons are usually a good idea.
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

I hope I can make it. Your launcher updated today and it keeps crashing before it finishes downloading any files. So I can not even play now.

just got 34.9% on 0 of 6 files before it crashes. Getting closer.

Yep, new mirror was not going to be ready on time.

It shows as being down in the launcher but if you press play you should load in.
If the game doesn't launch log out, sign in and press play.

Hey CCP,

Could you please assist? A lot of us cant join. I get same as above, subscription expired.

Would really use those 2 mil SP as well as seeing all the new goodies!

Thanks for nothing the launcher was stating that duality was offline for the whole mass test period
