Oulley was showing 5 ship kills last hour so jumped my new Ares in there just to see how she'd do. Didn't do bad, I got lit up bigtime but the stabs and warp kicked in and I was able to leave all my troubles behind. We were shot up pretty bad, shields down, armor about half gone and a good bit of structure damage but there was one station in system with a repair shop that fixed me up for a little over 5k. After a few minutes I decide hey, let's see if this works going the other way. I did and the campers were busy killing another poor schmuck so I emerged healthy in Orvolle.

Couple hours later, with a different character, I noted Oulley had 37 kills last hour and I just had to go see this. In a shuttle that I figured to lose I made the jumps back into Oulley with FRAPS running, emerged into a firestorm, everybody shooting at everybody and I just played tourist, trying to get some good shots for my video. Jump cloak faded and still, nobody paid any attention to me but after a while I decided to make a run for the gate, everybody was still apparently fighting for their lives while I jumped back into Orvolle without even being target locked, much less scratched.

Haven't done anything with the video yet but it ought to be cool.

All that fun and I didn't even get killed, I like playing tourist.

There's some new camera settings you can play around with to get neat videos. And various ways to improve them like hiding your windows (Control + F9) for more realism etc.

Of course it's easier to play the observer if you have a cloak. Then you can sit there and fiddle with camera settings without worrying about getting blown up.

Yup, that is why I take popcorn and 3d glasses with me everytime I go explore low sec. Seen some pretty amazing fights. From 1 v 1 to blob vs blob. Sometimes I really want to just join and shoot everything but Cheetah cant fight. :(

Apparently you cannot conceive of a fit designed for one particular purpose. This particular ships' primary mission is scouting for then escaping from bubble camps. So stabs, no weapons, lotsa tank and yeah, some stabs. It's my game and I play it my way.
