So, I am a returning player and as a general rule I used battle clinic to compare fits but seems how BC no longer seems to be in operation who is the new king?

I need me a good worm pvp fit for faction warfare. As a general rule I get raped but then again I also have a considerable bank roll.

Download EFT... play with the fittings... test them... check the killboards of other Worm pilots... play with your fitting in EFT... understand the principles of ship fitting... win.

Additional to ShahFluffers tip, take a look at my post here:

and follow the links.
This will give you more background about fitting so you know what you're doing in EFT.

Ralph that is exactly what I was looking for you lovely human being thank you.

Now maybe just maybe I can find something to take down kitsunes or other jamming ships. Got my ass murdered earlier using a neut build though that's my fault for not pulling drones in when they got jammed.

As for the other suggestions zkillboard is great but eft paper builds do not seem to transfer well in pvp. I find it easier to learn by making mistakes or preferably other people's mistakes

If you were a new player I'd suggest you start in something cheaper while you are learning. Since you aren't new you can make your own decision, though depending on how long you've been gone you probably have plenty to relearn and you might find it easier that way.

I will say, the worm will be consistently overestimated (read: reported to friends and blobbed) because it is so strong. I prefer to be underestimated when flying solo. The Tristan is a much cheaper ship with just as much flexibility as the Worm and it does very well against other frigs using similar tactics, so it's a good stepping stone. As one of the "best" t1 frigs it is also likely to be overestimated though.

@cara That is actually very good advice, truth be told since coming back I have pretty much just dipped my feet into pvp again and have noticed exactly that situation. I will sit at an outpost watching d scan and see small gangs show up (at which point I run).

So generally it seems like based on what you have said I am better off just taking a kestral or Trist out in hopes of a 1v1 leaving me with the question of how the hell do I deal with folks that have boosters :| those bad boys are horrifying.

Personally I recommend learning how to do your own fits. Experiment.
