Freespace and Freespace 2 were the best space combat games ever... period

ahhh i still got Wing commander 4 : The Price Of Freedom installed on my machine, may have to get out the flight stick again now :-P

just a shame i cant find my Wing Commander 1 2 or 3 , not that they would probs work on XP anymore :(

The Wing Commander movie was the absolute worst movie I've ever seen. Horrible. When I'm talking to friends about bad movies, I always mention Wing Commander as the worst movie. Worse than those suicide-inducing Dungeons and Dragons movies. Worse than even Breakin' 2 - Electric Boogaloo.

the claim "space games are dead" is bunk, the studios told themselves they were dead, so they stopped investing in good titles, so people lost interest.

then there is the entire Chris Robert's Little Brother Kills Colonel Blair....

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.
