So, I have looked at pos changes over the past years as I was gone for a while and I find contradicting information in different sources.

To cut to the chase, is there an reason to have more than one of each lab type in a pos?
A dev blog I found said the more copies of a lab there are, the lower the costs, but that does not seem to be the case?

I can confirm there is NO reason to have multiples of the same lab, unless you use it as storage.
Having multiple labs does NOTHING to research/manufacturing time.

There really is no need for a POS anymore, except to lower production costs if you are doing a decent volume.

POS jobs don't have the 10% NPC tax, but they still have the system index installation cost. Plus, there is POS fuel cost.

I'd imagine for most small corps, a small tower with two labs is fine.

The maximum would be:
* Research Laboratory or Hyasyoda Research Laboratory (ME and TE research)
* Design Laboratory (copying and T2 invention)
* Experimental Laboratory (T3 invention)
You can fit all three on a small Caldari tower (only two on the others).
