Duality Mass Test: Tuesday 26th January 2016

Hi!
We are planning a mass test for the Citadels sandbox on Duality on Tuesday, January 26th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?
Core functionality, involving a fleet fight and maybe a trip to a partially functional Citadel.

IMPORTANT: The Citadel is still in development, this is not a final and fully feature complete Citadel. Functionality, numbers, art, all these things are still in development and may change before release, this is a sneak preview of what is coming, not the 100% final product.
NOTE: If you are in a (super)carrier, you will see a fighter bay that is still a work in progress. It will not work in any way.

How to connect to Duality for this test:

Join the in-game channel "MassTesting"


Test steps (subject to change):

  • Be docked in one of the stations in FD-MLJ
  • Undock and align to X-BV98 gate
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Fleet X: Align and jump to Poitot setup gate camp
  • Fleet W: Jump in to Poitot
  • Commence fleet fight
  • Warp to Citadel beacon in Poitot



What else should I know?

Use the command /moveme to be moved to the start system FD-MLJ
Bring any ship you want but keep in mind there is a big fight at the end so tank and weapons are usually a good idea.
2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test

P.S Duality is currently in VIP mode and will be opened in time for the mass test, watch this thread for an update on when VIP is lifted.

Ideally be on time, but 15 minutes late is not the end of the world.

Can not wait to see a Citadel in game.

It would be nice if we could dock, just to see the inside.

What happens to the singularity sp when a mirror occurs. Isnt one imminent?

I can not online all my launchers on my ship on duality launcher. I have enuff power grid. but its not letting me online it.

Also can we update skills on duality?

That is why we have it in VIP at the moment, there will be a mirror applied in time.

After a mirror occurs on Singularity, you usually get the SP from the previous 5 mass tests if you took part.
CCP Habakuk could confirm that though.

I think the copyskills command works on Duality. If not I am afraid we won't have time to get it sorted for tonight, but I will get it sorted for the future if need be.

OMG i have been dying to see these new structures up close! this is gonna be awezome! also is the duality server suposed to be offline atm? and if so when does it open so i can log in?

2100 is the sweatspot for dualtz ops during the work week. I have done a lot of coord for dual us/eu tz alliances, and the different in #'s between even 2030 and 2100 is palpable.

We are updating some things, so at the moment it is in VIP mode.
