Gallente Faction Warfare - Industry Questions

o7 Folks,

I have a few questions for our Gallente Faction Warfare pilots and corporations.

  1. What are the most common ships used in Gallente FW?
  2. What is the most commonly used Ammo?
  3. Where is the primary market for Gallente FW?

I've heard that Orvolle is a great place for selling to Gallente FW pilots, but what about Dodixie? Do you guys just have it shipped in from Jita?

Just a new industrialist wanting to know.

it might also be worth noting, that I assume based on my time in Cal-mil and my current leadership of a Min-mil alliance, not alot of alliance or corporate level purchasing really happens at stations near the War-zone. We have an industrial wing, and we are allied with an industrial alliance, and buy most of our stuff in trade hubs and people just jump freighter it in for us. This seems a pretty standard way of doing things.

What your target demographic then is, probably the pilots in the FDU itself. Lots of people join NPC corps and farm or 1v1 in frigates on both sides. Most NPC corp players don't have JF logsitics or even DSTs, so I imagine buying stuff at a border system is pretty likely for them. Just make sure you let them know your market is there,

1. Tristan
2. Drones
3. Anywhere with a good stock of Warp Core Stabilizers on the market

Just put warp core stabs in any Galmil home system at inflated prices and they will sell and you'll get rich.

you'd need to be an advanced industrialist to supply faction war. it's almost all Tech2 and meta3/4 modules, tech 2 and faction ammo, tech 2 drones. you don't make meta modules they come from mission loot, faction ammo is bought from LP stores, and if you're making tech 2 stuff you sell it at a hub.

Actually if your market skills are good just putting around hundreds of orders of inflated cost shuttles and warp stabs might not be a bad investment, I have been in every Milita and know full well that stabbed farmers are on all sides no matter how much one side accuses the other they are all guilty.

I paid for my first Titan by selling warp core stabilisers to Gallente Milita O/P.

In Galmil we have many hubs within low-sec. In highsec border systems, things are pretty open for competition to sneak in with undercuts from even Dodixie bought modules, but you will have a low rate of return, as most pilots eventually stop commuting builds/mods from high into low and just live inside the warzone, die of a brain hemorrhage, or silently retreat into obscurity because of broken keyboards.

tl;dr
*Things in highsec sell okay, but not often enough to merit this being anything but a side/alt activity.
*Your best bet is to Blockade Runner modules in, as you have no chance of competing with jump freighters with hulls. There are not enough factories within the warzone to regularly get Kryos' in and setup shop for t1 ships, and where there ARE, the established residents have probably thought ahead of you and, again, you will be outdone by JF's. The only good thing is most JF pilots will substantially mark-up their hauls, so it's not impossible to .01 isk them. You will probably just end up making enemies, but will most likely avoid any conflict due to our laziness in trading and just get trash talked in Teamspeak.

"most common ships used"? Answers are given, but you will not make any ISK selling ships. Nor in high sec (where minerals, mined afk, falsely considered to be "free" by " new industrialist" like you) nor in low (jump frighter competition, as already cleared.)
"most commonly used Ammo"? Drones, Hybrid and Projectile, quite often even missiles, crystals to the least degree. Important thing is : no T1 stuff. Only factional or T2.
"primary market"? Vlillirier IV - Moon 13 - Wiyrkomi Corporation Warehouse, Sujarento IV - State Protectorate Logistic Support, Nisuwa VII - State Protectorate Logistic Support
You will get kiled on Oulley gate by Separatists and on Onatoh gate by Heatseekers.
There was a time, when gal militia used to trade in Villore or Orvolle, but gates are instacamped now by ballless cowards, who are afraid of opposition and cultivate their precious killboard by poping frigates and transports in instalock T3 cruisers.

Orvolle and Stacmon are high sec trade hubs in Gallente space, but prices there are ... let say unpredictable. You probably should try Villore, cause unlike Gal mil you can get through gate camp. Most of FW is about small / medium ships and guns, do not expect quick money though.

Places, that are NOT trade hubs: Algasienan, Actee, Tierijev, Jufvitte, Charmerout. You can sell stuff there, but it will take ages to see its gone.

Try the http://eve-marketdata.com/station.php?step=Rank to get a picture. Do not trust this side at prices (eve-central is your source) but you will get picture, where is stufff traded most.

You'll find stocking Eha would be very beneficial to you, lots of active pvp pilots including myself live out of that station
